Iran-China hybrid film at pre-production stage: Director

Hybrid live-action/animated film is scheduled to be jointly made by Iran and China, the Iranian director for the project says.

Ali Nour-Oskouee was quoted by the media as saying on Friday that China will help him to produce his new animated film which is at the pre-production stage, adding it is a live-action/animated movie with plenty of VFX shots.

The director also noted the film will be shot in two versions, but not concurrently, with the first version planned to come out in 2017.

Two child actors from Iran and China will play the lead. In the first version all events of the film occur in Iran while in the second installment, a group of people travel to China and the story unfolds from there.
